SPOKANE, Wash. — The heat is on. As Mark Hanrahan said, get out the leg warmers and warm up the DeLorean, we're headed back to the 80s. He's not wrong. Temperature wise, that is.
A massive ridge of high pressure sets up starting tomorrow. That means no clouds and temps on the rise. Thursday offers a high in the 70s, Friday near 80, then it's the 80s all weekend long! Right now it looks like we cool a little next week, but even then we are talking sunshine and highs in the mid 70s.
A quick word of caution. The water is still cold. Temperatures in the 40s will send your body into shock almost immediately. A little preparation and a life preserver can save your life!
