    The Idaho Panhandle Avalanche Center in Sandpoint has issued a BACKCOUNTRY AVALANCHE WARNING for the following areas: Bonner County and Boundary County, Idaho. * WHAT...The avalanche danger for the warning area will remain HIGH today due to warm temperatures and sunshine that will weaken the snowpack causing natural and human triggered avalanches to become very likely. Loose surface snow will slide easily with potential to trigger deeper weak layers in the snowpack, creating large and destructive avalanches in steep terrain. * WHERE...Steep and open terrain in mountainous areas of the Selkirk Range of Northern Idaho, Cabinet Mountains and Purcell Range of Northwest Montana. * WHEN...In effect from Mon 06:30 AM PDT to Tue 18:30 PM PDT. * IMPACTS...Natural avalanches will become likely and human triggered avalanches will become very likely.
