SPOKANE, Wash. — Amazon has now posted a total of nine job listings for the Spokane fulfillment center on its website.

The positions are open Finance Manager; Senior Financial Analyst; Human Resources (HR) Manager; Site HR Manager; IT Support Engineer; two Operations Manager positions; and two Area Manager positions. Most of the listings were posted between Oct. 8 and Nov. 5, according to the Amazon jobs website.

Amazon spokesperson Shevaun Brown told KREM he could not confirm when the applications close or the date that these employees will begin working for the company.

The company is expected to begin the full-scale hiring process for the majority of positions one to two months before the center launches.

Amazon representatives say the fulfillment center, located off of Geiger Boulevard near the Spokane International Airport, is expected to create more than 1,500 full-time jobs.

Earlier this year, Amazon said all employees at the center will make at least $15 an hour along with full health, dental and vision benefits, a 401k with 50 percent match, and 20 weeks paid parental leave.

The center is expected to open in the Spokane area by mid-2020. Amazon spokesperson Brown told KREM in September that launches typically take place 1.5 to 2 years after the initial building announcement. The fulfillment center was announced in July 2018.

Amazon hasn't confirmed if the fulfillment center will provide Spokane with same-day or two-hour delivery. Spokane's facility will mostly house small items, according to an Amazon spokesperson.

Once the center is finished, it will be the biggest building in eastern Washington.
