Apple Cup: How to watch Washington State vs Washington college football game

The University of Washington will look to keep its perfect season going as Washington State University looks for an upset in the Apple Cup rivalry.

SEATTLE — Apple Cup games are never short on headlines and this year is no different. From No. 4 Washington (11-0) looking to keep its winning streak going as it tries to secure a spot in the College Football Playoff, or Washington State (5-6) needing one more win to secure bowl eligibility, or the fact that this is the final time the Cougars and Huskies will take the football field together as Pac-12 rivals.

Game time, channel, and how to watch

Here are the details for those wondering what channel the Washington State-Washington college football game is on.

The WSU vs UW football game starts at 1:00 p.m. Pacific time on Saturday, November 25. The Apple Cup can be watched on Fox.

The game is being played at Husky Stadium.

Cougars vs Huskies

After 115 meetings between WSU and UW in the Apple Cup this year's edition comes with a lot of uncertainty.

Earlier this week, the two schools announced plans to continue the Apple Cup for another five years, but for many fans it may not be the same.

This is the final season that Washington State and Washington will both be competing as members of the Pac-12. UW announced it is leaving for the Big Ten, while WSU is one of only two remaining members of the Pac-12.

As for the game itself, No. 4 Washington is fighting for a spot in the College Football Playoff. The Huskies would likely drop out of playoff contention with a loss against the Cougars. And while UW has the Pac-12 Championship coming up next week, they can't afford to look past WSU.

Washington State had a promising start to the season but then lost six games in a row. The Cougs need a win in the Apple Cup to secure bowl eligibility.

The Huskies lead the all-time series 75-33-6.
