LAS VEGAS — WSU trailed at the first media timeout before a Jaylen Wells three pointer gifted the Cougs a lead they never relinquished, as WSU knocked off Stanford 79-62.

Isaac Jones led the way with 16 points. Myles Rice and Wells had 14 points apiece and Andrej Jakimovski chipped in 13 points despite a sore shoulder in the win.

The Cougs also had strong bench play, as Rueben Chinyelu had a perfect night from the field and scored 10 points and Kymany Houinsou had 11 points.

WSU advances to the PAC-12 tournament semifinals and will face the winner of Colorado and Utah.
