PULLMAN, Wash. — The iconic Cougar Country Drive In has been listed for sale at $1.9 million by a Pullman real estate company.
Listed by Lori Churchill Cofer of Beasley Realty, the property located on Pullman's Grand Ave. was listed on Tuesday. Cofer also made a Facebook post announcing the listing.
"Iconic turn key restaurant and building for sale," Cofer wrote in the post. "Don't miss out on owning your own piece of Pullman history."
The owner announced on Feb. 12 that the restaurant would be closed until further notice due to financial issues, including employees not receiving paychecks, but that she had been approved for financing.
The post also said the hiring of a new manager and a lack of communication since her retirement five years ago led to the issues.
The property is listed as having 2,184 square feet and the building can hold 88 people.
