SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane Indians announced on Tuesday that the organization has won the 2023 Minor League Baseball CommUNITY Champion Award.
In a Facebook post, the club said they won the award because of their collaborative efforts with the Spokane Tribe of Indians.
The Minor League Baseball CommUNITY Champion Award recognizes clubs who demonstrate a commitment to charitable service, support and leadership within their local community.
The Spokane Indians won the award in 2023 after being nominated for the same award in 2022.
