PULLMAN, Wash. — Washington State University has come to an agreement with the Mountain West Conference to add baseball and women's swimming to the conference for the next two seasons.
Washington State University will be an affiliate member in both sports, which means the Cougs will be eligible for both postseason Mountain West championships and awards in both sports.
The Mountain West will now feature eight baseball teams and 10 women's swimming teams.
WSU previously agreed to a scheduling agreement with the Mountain West for football earlier this winter.
