SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane Humane Society is still searching for Kayah, a mastiff mix who ran away from the North Pointe Shopping Center nearly a month ago.

Humane Society staff said Kayah ran away on June 7, when a person walking her slipped and fell. They said she is very skittish.

She has been seen in the North Pointe Shopping Center but could be anywhere by now.

Humane Society staff say people should not try to catch Kaya or follow her in their car, as she will be scared and hide.

Staff said they have not had any sightings reported in the last two weeks after putting up posters and handing out fliers, and posting on Craigslist and Facebook.

Staff also need the exact location of where she was seen and which direction she was moving. If you see Kayah or know where she is, call or text the Humane Society at 509-598-6462.

When Kayah is safely returned, she will be adopted out to a loving home.
