SPOKANE, Wash. — On Memorial Day, the nation pauses to remember those who gave their life for the country. Several events are planned in Spokane where people can pay their respects.
All events are scheduled on Monday, May 27, 2024.
- 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. - 6th Annual Heroes' Breakfast at Riverside Memorial Park
Memorial Day ceremonies
- 10:00 a.m. at Spokane Memorial Gardens conducted by Greater Spokane Elks #228
- 11:00 a.m. at Fairmount Memorial Park conducted by The Melvin M. Smith Detachment of the Marine Corps League
- 11:00 a.m. at Pines Cemetery conducted by the American Legion Post #241
- 12:00 p.m. at Pines Cemetery: Walking with Ancestors at Pines Cemetery with the Eastern Washington Genealogical Society and free hotdogs until 2 p.m.
