RITZVILLE, Wash. — Both directions of I-90 two miles east of Ritzville were closed for hours after a semi crash that left at least one person injured. Washington State Patrol says the crash was caused by icy roads Wednesday morning.
The traffic headache began when two semi trucks ran into each other which caused the closure of eastbound I-90. A separate semi tried to go around the initial accident and lost control of the truck which ultimately caused the closure of westbound I-90.
WSP says one person injured their leg in these crashes. They were taken to the hospital to get checked out by doctors.
