Seattle Seahawks fullback Derrick Coleman was released from jail Friday morning pending the ongoing investigation, King County Prosecutor's Office announced.
The King County Prosecutor said the investigation could take a month, including the wait for toxicology results. The prosecutor's office said the decision regarding the charges against Coleman will be made once the investigation is complete.
Coleman was arrested on investigation for vehicular assault and hit and run after an accident Wednesday evening. He was booked into the King County Jail at 1:20 a.m. on Thursday.
