"We've got a lot of new faces in that room, you know, we've made some trades, so I want guys to get comfortable around each other," Servais said. "We have a lot of fun in the morning meetings, getting the guys to know each other and their background and what's important to them, so that's really my focus, especially early in camp."

The Seattle Mariners had their first official full-squad workout at spring training on Tuesday.

Manager Scott Servais said this is the hungriest team he's ever been around before. Julio Rodriguez met with the media before the first official workout.

In regards to his play in 2023, Julio said, "I wasn't happy with it. I feel like a lot of people can say, 'Oh, like he was fourth in the MVP. He did this. He did that. How can you not be happy?' But I feel like there was a lot of moments that I feel like I should have done better."

The Mariners will take on the Chicago White Sox for their first spring training game on Saturday at 3:05 p.m.
