SPOKANE, Wash. — There were a lot of questions of who would start at point guard for the Gonzaga Bulldogs next season. Those questions have officially been answered.

Woolridge also confirmed the news to KREM 2's Brenna Greene and Karthik Venkataraman.

Woolridge comes to Gonzaga from North Texas with one year of eligibility and can play right away.

Last year he averaged 11.7 points per game, 6.0 rebounds per game, and 5.0 assists per game. He was the only player on Conference USA to average over 10 points, five rebounds, and five assists last season according to North Texas' website.

He also recorded the program's first triple-double in 27 years last season against Indiana State with 12 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists. It was the only triple-double recorded in Conference USA last year.

Woolridge went viral last season as well, hitting this near full court shot:

In his sophomore season, he played 1,391 minutes for the Mean Green basketball team. That broke the school record for minutes played in a season.

Overall, Woolridge scored over 1,000 points in a North Texas uniform.

Stadium's Jeff Goodman reported this about Woolridge from a source:

Woolridge is the presumed starter at point guard for GU next season.
