SPOKANE, Wash. — The 2024 Washington GOP Convention is set to kick off in Spokane on Thursday morning.
Party leaders have several events and discussions planned for this weekend. One big thing to keep an eye on is who state Republicans will back for Washington governor.
The convention officially kicks off Thursday at the Spokane Convention Center and will run through April 20. Sponsors like Cathy McMorris Rodgers and Secretary of State candidate Bob Hagglund will be in attendance.
According to the Washington State Republican Party website, the event is “a significant gathering of Party delegates from across the state, who come together to define the Party’s platform, elect Party leadership, elect national delegates, presidential electors, and now also endorse candidates for statewide and federal offices.
The multi-day event will feature vendor booths, training seminars, banquets, congressional district break-out sessions as well as the state convention. The state convention is where candidate endorsements and party platforms will be discussed.

Convention organizers are encouraging all Republicans from across the state to attend. Entrance to the event costs $50.
