Sandpoint community holding fundraiser for businesses razed by February fire

A fire in the early morning hours of Feb. 11 destroyed several downtown Sandpoint businesses.

SANDPOINT, Idaho — The Sandpoint community is coming together Saturday to raise money for those who lost their businesses in a fire earlier this month.

The event, which will be held at 317 North First Ave. in Sandpoint from 4 to 7 p.m., will include a silent auction featuring items from local citizens and businesses.

Attendees can also enjoy finger food and drinks from local restaurants and live music at the fundraiser. Funds raised during the event will be given to the businesses and employees affected by the Feb. 11 fire.

People can still donate items for the auction, and a GoFundMe has been set up for those wishing to donate directly.
