SPOKANE, Wash. — Thank you for supporting the 2024 KREM Cares Diaper Drive. The annual event hosted by KREM 2 and partners at Rosauers, Washington Trust Bank, and Vanessa Behan means thousands of diapers for area families that are struggling financially.
This year, the KREM Cares Diaper Drive will provide 275,000+ diapers to Vanessa Behan to distribute throughout the next 12 months.
From April 8th—21st, KREM Cares Diaper Drive bags were sold at area Rosauers for $10. Each bag represents diapers and wipes for a week to be given out at Vanessa Behan. The community could also donate at area Washington Trust Bank branches. All donations are used to buy diapers and wipes and are distributed at Vanessa Behan.
Vanessa Behan is safe haven for kids and provides resources for local families. Diaper needs are extensive. According to Vanessa Behan and national diaper banks, it’s estimated that 1 in 3 families needs help buying diapers.
The KREM Cares Diaper Drive is part of KREM 2’s commitment to elevating area families and ensuring we keep kids warm, safe, and dry.
