COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho — The Coeur d'Alene Police Department (CPD) arrested a Post Falls man who shot his gun at an apartment, injuring two people.

It happened at an apartment complex at West Hanley Avenue and West Voltaire Lane.

According to CPD, a group of people were partying in an apartment when Elijah James Hocking, 20, showed them a gun.

Police say Hocking was pushed out of the apartment. He then reportedly shot through the front door several times and ran after injuring two people.

Both victims were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities arrested Hocking for two counts of aggravated battery and one count of unlawful discharge of a firearm at a dwelling.

Hocking was booked into the Kootenai County Public Safety Building.
