Coeur d'Alene HS students create new food bank

September is Hunger Action Month and students at Coeur d’Alene High School are taking action to make a difference in their community.

COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho – September is Hunger Action Month and students at Coeur d’Alene High School are taking action to make a difference in their community.

In a partnership with Second Harvest, the students at Coeur d’Alene have created a foot pantry that will serve anyone in the community, not just students with needs.

The food bank will be open to anyone beginning October 21 and will be open every third and fourth Friday of the month.

There is still a need for donations, so if you are interested in helping out, please contact Eric Brewer from Coeur d’Alene High School .
