Flooding mitigated at Boundary Community Hospital, all services restored

The hospital could only accept emergent patients due to flooding in a portion of the building.

BONNERS FERRY, Idaho — Update: The hospital has announced via Facebook that they are no longer on diversion status and that the flooding has been mitigated. All services have been restored at this time.

Original: Boundary Community Hospital is currently only accepting emergent patients due to flooding in a portion of a building.

According to the hospital's Facebook page, staff is working to address the situation and restore full services as soon as possible.

The emergency department will be limited to critical use only. Those seeking non-emergent care should look to services at nearby urgent care centers and physician's offices or call 911.

The hospital will post updates regarding the situation on its Facebook page.
