SPOKANE, Wash. – The air quality in Spokane County is now in the "Moderate" range. This comes as a 58,000-acre fire is burning in Kittitas County and a fire grew to 1,000 acres in Grant County on Friday.

That is according to the Spokane Regional Clean Air Agency.

The particulate matter in the air is decreasing. Early Friday morning, it sat somewhere between 131 and 115, which put air quality in the "Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups" range.
