Indiana fugitive wanted for child molestation arrested in Coeur d’Alene

A felony, no bond, full nationwide extradition warrant for Braidon Nutting's arrest was issued out of Indiana, police said.

COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho — A fugitive charged with child molestation in South Bend, Indiana, was arrested in Coeur d’Alene on Wednesday, according to police.

Members of the Coeur d’Alene Police Department Community Action Team and U.S. Marshalls Service Task Force apprehended Braidon Nutting after law enforcement in Indiana contacted Coeur d’Alene detectives, police said.

Police did not release Nutting's age. 

Police said law enforcement from the St. Joseph County Metro Police Special Victims Unit in Indiana told detectives that Nutting was possibly living and working in the Coeur d’Alene area. Detectives and USMS task force members began to work on the case after receiving the information.

A felony, no bond, full nationwide extradition warrant for Nutting’s arrest was issued out of Indiana, police said. Law enforcement officers eventually found him during a traffic stop and arrested him without incident.
