A stat comparison when Gonzaga forward Killian Tillie plays and doesn't

The French forward is expected to return soon, maybe as early as the West Coast Conference tournament. See how he helps the Zags' stat line when he's able to play.

SPOKANE, Wash. — It looks like Gonzaga forward Killian Tillie is going to be back sooner than later.

Zags head coach Mark Few told Stadium that Killian Tillie has been practicing the past couple of days and that he's optimistic the French forward will play in the West Coast Conference Tournament.

Tillie partly tore his plantar fascia on his right foot in a home game against San Francisco about a month ago.

We took a look into how Gonzaga has done in conference play with and without Tillie.

The numbers drop on average comparing the 9 games tillie played in conference versus the seven he didn't play in. Gonzaga scored on averaged about two more points, allowed about two less points per game to opponents and got about three more rebounds per game with Tillie playing.

If nothing else, Tillie definitely adds more depth, and that's so crucial as the NCAA Tournament inches closer.
