SPOKANE, Wash. — If you live, work or spend a significant amount of time on Spokane's South Hill, you've no doubt encountered the construction projects that have seemingly overtaken 29th Avenue.

The construction projects have been underway since April and are expected to wrap up in August and September. However, a post on the r/Spokane page on Reddit suggested the construction might take longer than expected.

"Heard a rumor that construction on 29th Ave may now run through October....can anyone confirm?" the post said.

According to the City of Spokane, construction projects around the city should wrap up in August or September. They expect to have better idea of completion for each project in the coming days.
