Glenn Johnson sat down with KREM 2 to look back on his time as Pullman's longest-serving mayor.

PULLMAN, Wash. — Tuesday night marked Pullman Mayor Glenn Johnson's final city council meeting. Johnson, also known as the "Voice of the Cougs," announced that he will be retiring after serving 20 years as Pullman's mayor.

In addition to serving five terms as Pullman's mayor, Johnson also worked as a professor at Washington State University's Edward R. Murrow College of Communications. For 35 years, he taught courses in television news, communications management and other subjects.
