SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane Symphony Associates has released the plans for the annual "Christmas Tree Elegance" event in the Lilac City.
This year's 13-day event will take place from Nov. 28 through Dec. 10. Last year saw 436,000 $1 raffle tickets sold to visitors from all over the Inland Northwest
2023's event will feature a total of 16 expertly decorated trees. Nine of them can be found within the mezzanine of the Historic Davenport Hotel while the remaining seven will be placed in River Park Square's second-floor east wing. Prizes at the Davenport include $4,500 cash, a motorcycle, a Fox Theater puppet theater with puppets and more. Prizes at River Park Square include $4,000 cash, a custom-made boat bed, a pickle ball net with paddles and more.
In addition, the Christmas Tree Elegance Holiday Luncheons will be held on Dec. 6 and Dec. 7 in the Grand Pennington Ballroom at the Davenport. Spokane Symphony Music Director James Lowe will provide entertainment with members of the symphony's brass section playing a selection of holiday favorites.
