Sad news for sub lovers: Jimmy John’s will not have a one-day-only deal for $1 sandwiches like it had in recent years.
For the last few years the popular sandwich shop attracted mobs of sub lovers who were in the mood for a good sandwich and an even better deal.
A poster with the $1 Customer Appreciation promotion and date of April 21 was stamped with a “fake news” warning on Twitter.
Jimmy John’s also tweeted to confirm the sad news.
“There won’t be a national Dollar Sub Day this year, but don’t worry! I’m working on new ways to show you I love you and freak you out,” the freaky fast sandwich shop tweeted.

A customer service representative said they were working on some new products and customers should keep an eye out for those.
