Shannon Moudy is proud to make her return to the Inland Northwest in joining KREM 2 News as a multi-skilled journalist in December 2022.

Shannon began her news career as a production assistant and later a reporter for KLEW in Lewiston, Idaho. She was awarded first place from the Idaho Press Club for an investigative report she put together on Lewiston High School’s bond measure.

From there, she traveled east to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, joining the reporting team at Iowa’s News Now in October 2018. While in Iowa, Shannon was nominated for an Emmy for her solo work featuring a Tik Tok dairy farmer.

Originally from New Meadows, Idaho, Shannon has lived all over the northwest, graduating from Concrete High School in Skagit County. She’s a proud Lewis-Clark State College Warrior and fondly remembers her days covering the Avista NAIA World Series.

When not tracking down or telling stories, Shannon enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and sitting down with a good book.
