Channing Curtis is the co-anchor of Up With KREM Monday through Friday and a KREM 2 reporter.

Before moving to the Inland Northwest to join the KREM 2 News family, Channing was an evening anchor at CBS 19 in Tyler, Texas. While at CBS 19, she reported on the devastating tornados in Alto and Canton, the historic name changes of two Tyler ISD high schools, as well as countless "Black Lives Matter" protests.

Prior to that, Channing was the morning co-anchor of Good Morning Basin at KMID in Odessa, Texas.

Channing has a bachelor's degree from the University of North Texas and her master's from Boston University.

While living in Boston, she worked at CBS Boston as a news apprentice where she worked with producers writing scripts for the evening shows and producing the mid-day and web cut-ins.

Before she moved to the news desk, Channing worked as a sports reporter and analyst. She did color commentary for the Boston University women's basketball team and served as a sideline reporter for high school football and basketball.

Channing is a native of Dallas, Texas. Like most Dallas residents, she loves football (Go Cowboys!) and great food. When she's not working, she loves exploring her new home in the Inland Northwest, trying local restaurants and wineries, as well as watching sports.
