Cooler temps on Wednesday

Partly cloudy skies move in through the afternoon--although you still see quite a bit of sunshine. Warm temperatures in the mid 70s for us today is still above our "seasonal" average of 66 degrees. Come Tuesday though we take a dip back to the 60s with partly cloudy skies expected through the weekend and the Lilac Parade. Our first chance of rain returns come Monday!
The flood watch for the Okanogan Highlands has been upgraded to a flood watch thanks to warm temperatures melting snow pack on the east side of the Cascade slopes. At 10:30 this morning, the Okanogan River near Tonasket was 13.9', flood stage is 15'.
