POST FALLS, Idaho – A Post Falls man was sentenced Thursday to 30 years in prison for lewd and lascivious conduct with a minor under 16 and sexual battery of a child.

Tyler John Kelley, 27, had sex with two minor girls after meeting them online. Officials said during the investigation it was learned that he had sexual contact with other minor girls. Kelley entered guilty pleas on October 11. Kelley had no prior convictions and was evaluated and found to be at a moderate risk to re-offend.

The judge who sentenced Kelley ordered on both charges the first four years of the sentenced would be fixed and the remaining 26 years would be indeterminate. The sentences will be served concurrently.

Prosecuting Attorney Barry McHugh said the sentence reflects the concerns that Kelley did not appreciate the seriousness of the offenses, that he was and is highly manipulative and intentionally preyed on vulnerable minor girls.
