SPOKANE, Wash.—The sunny and warm weather comes to an end Wednesday as rain moved into the Inland Northwest.

Drivers should expect rain on their morning commute.

Overnight rain was heavy at times and that trend will continue through some of the earlier hours Wednesday morning.

High temperatures will be 10 to 15 degrees cooler than they were Tuesday. Temperatures can be expected to be in the 40s Wednesday with mostly cloudy skies and rain.

Wet weather will continue into the end of the work week.
