SPOKANE, Wash. – Spokane Fire crew were able to safely rescue a person from the Spokane River near Post and Spokane Falls Boulevard Thursday night.
Crews responded to the area around 7:00 p.m. for a report of a man who jumped into the river. The man was able to make it to some rock on the side of the water. Rescue crews rappelled down the rock to get to the man.
The man was transported to the hospital. He told rescue crews he was fine, just really cold. Crews said he was moving around when they got to him. His condition is not known at this time.
