CDA classroom goes without power to teach kids a lesson

COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho – Students walked into a classroom in Coeur d’Alene this week to find they were powerless.

They couldn’t use the lights, computers or their iPads during class and it was all because of their teacher.

Courtney Greene planned the “outage,” Coeur d’Alene Schools said in a post, to teach her students a lesson for their energy unit:

“Is equal access to energy a right or a privilege?”
