SPOKANE, Wash. — Major Crimes Detectives with the Spokane County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) are investigating reports of a dead woman in the area of East Buckeye Avenue.
According to SCSO, the body was reportedly found around 4:05 p.m. Wednesday near an electrical substation. Deputies have established a perimeter around the area. What happened leading up to the discovery of the woman is not known.
KREM 2 talked to neighbors who said the area is a popular dog walking location because of the open fields and dirt trails.
