City council approves more than $250K for Spokane warming shelters
More than $250,000 will go toward staffing a new warming shelter for young adults ages 18 to 24 at Westminster United Church of Church in Spokane. More than $16,000 will fund an existing warming shelter at Salem Lutheran Church.
