Suspect in CDA July 4 shooting had multiple run-ins with police
Coeur d'Alene police believe the suspect tried to shoot someone else at Independence Point, just as thousands of people were wrapping up their Fourth of July celebration. Officers in the area heard the gunshots and chased the suspect. The man was later shot by officers after they say he failed to obey their commands. This is just a small part of the story.
