SANDPOINT, Idaho — Schweitzer Mountain Resort is offering $10 lift tickets on Friday as part of its Community Day.
All proceeds from the lift tickets go toward either the Bonner Partners in Care Clinic or Community Cancer Services.
Bonner Partners in Care provides healthcare to Bonner County residents and those living in adjacent community who do not have medical insurance meet eligibility. Community Cancer Services in a nonprofit organization providing information and support to cancer patients and their families.
Tickets are available online or directly from the organizations in Sandpoint. They will also be available at Schweitzer's Guest Services, the Activity Center and the Snow Sports Center on the day of the event. Tickets sold on the mountain will be divided between the two organizations.
On-mountain ticket sales begin at 8:30 a.m. and lifts are open from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
On Thursday, Schweitzer saw seven inches of snow in 24 hours.
