What is Tom’s Turkey Drive? KREM 2 partners with Second Harvest, Rosauers, and multiple businesses to provide 11,000 Thanksgiving meals (to make at home) for area families that struggle with food insecurity. When you buy a Tom’s Turkey Drive meal you are providing food and support for our friends and neighbors in the Inland Northwest. KREM 2 is committed to helping in the fight against hunger.

How do I donate? We have set up different ways to give to Tom’s Turkey Drive.
- Shop at any area Rosauers from November 1st to Thanksgiving and you can buy a Tom’s Turkey Drive meal for $20. Rosauers will allow you to add it to your grocery bill online or in-store.
- You can donate to Second Harvest.
- You can mail a check to Second Harvest, 1234 E. Front Ave, Spokane, WA 99203.

Second Harvest is a non-profit dedicated to feeding our local families. All money is used to purchase the 11,000 meals. Whatever money is left is given to Second Harvest to continue the fight against hunger and feed families.
How do I volunteer for Tom's Turkey Drive? There are so many opportunities to volunteer. Each Friday & Saturday volunteers will be working at area Rosauers to help sell the Tom’s Turkey Drive bags. You can also sign-up to volunteer at the distribution. Volunteers are arranged through Second Harvest. If you want to donate through/or with your business and be on-air, just email turkey@krem.com. We will contact you and find out how we can safely showcase your business. Through pictures, video, Zoom, Teams and many other ways, we can ensure you and your team can participate in Tom’s Turkey Drive.
Will there be Tom’s Turkey Drive @ Starbucks this year?
YES.
November 18th from 3 p.m. - 5 p.m. at all participating Starbucks in Eastern Washington and North Idaho. Ask your favorite barista if they are participating in Tom’s Turkey Drive.
How does Tom’s Turkey Drive @ Starbucks work?
Go to any area participating Starbucks and buy your favorite coffee drink during the designated date/time (November 18th, 3 p.m. - 5 p.m.). It’s that easy. All profits from the handcrafted beverages during that window of time will go to Tom’s Turkey Drive.
How will I get a meal this year?
Tom's Turkey Tuesday has its major distribution from the Spokane County Fairgrounds. There is also a smaller distribution at Second Harvest for transit riders as well. Please see below for details:
- Tom's Turkey Tuesday: November 22nd
- Time: Tentative: 7 a.m. - 5 p.m. or until meals last
- Location: Spokane County Fairgrounds
- Drive-through only at the fairgrounds - for safety
- Transit riders: 1234 E. Front (Second Harvest) Distribution from 10 a.m - 2 p.m.
- 1-meal per family
Can I pick up a meal for friends or family? We can provide up to three meals per car if you are picking up for someone in need. Please limit it to one meal per family.
