NYC Italian Sausage Sandwich’s
2 tablespoons olive oil
8 links sweet or hot Italian sausages
2 large onions thinly sliced
2 large green bell peppers cored and slice
2 large red bell peppers cored and sliced
Your favorite seasoning salt
8 hoagie buns, about 6" long (crusty style)
Grill Italian sausages for 15 minutes or until done. Dice green pepper, red pepper and onions. Toss in olive oil with your favorite seasoning salt. Place in foil pan on grill and saute.
Slice open the buns and place one sausage with some of the onions and peppers on top. Serve at once.
