SPOKANE, Washington — Cold front did it's job, cooling us down by about ten degrees overall. Highs only ended in the upper 70s for Spokane and most of north Idaho.

Temps rebound back to normal around the low- to mid- 80s for the rest of this week and the weekend. Winds increase slightly to about 15-25 mph on Saturday and 10-20 mph on Sunday. That will be noticeable especially for those on the lake this weekend.

Next week temperature gradually climb back to the upper 80s and perhaps 90 in Spokane by Thursday. Between August 29th and September 1st could see near 90 degree weather for Spokane and easily 90+ for the usual hot spots in central Washington and Lewiston, Idaho.
