SPOKANE, Wash. — The showers weren't as prevalent Wednesday afternoon, that subtle change brings about a big shift in the coming days. Less atmospheric moisture tonight means temperatures will get even colder than what we woke up to early Wednesday. Most of the region will be below freezing, for some-- the 20s.
For south-central Washington, that cold is enough to prompt freeze warnings. While it's not going to be any colder in that part of the state, that region has already begun growing season. So any sensitive plants should be covered if possible. The next few mornings look to be about as cold, so keep that jacket handy.
Thursday offers a few more isolated light showers, but expect even less that what we saw Wednesday which was even less than what we saw Tuesday. A breeze kicks up Friday offering yet another change in the weather pattern. By the weekend, it's highs back in the 60s under sunny skies!
