SPOKANE, Wash.— A Winter Storm Warning and Winter Weather Advisory go into effect late Tuesday evening and continue through Wednesday. Updated snow totals forecast six to eight inches in Spokane, and eight inches to a foot of snow in Coeur d'Alene. These are almost double the expected totals from Monday night.
Central Washington can expect light amounts of snow, with less than an inch likely for Omak, Yakima, and Wenatchee.
The mountain areas can expect upwards of a foot of snow through Wednesday.
Snow will mainly come in the late evening of Tuesday and continue through Wednesday morning. Wednesday night will be mostly cloudy, and Thursday we will begin to clear out again.
There may be even more stormy weather as we begin next week, so don't only bring the snow jacket out for tomorrow! Thursday night through Sunday could bring light, scattered snowfall to the Inland Northwest too.
