SPOKANE, Washington — Most of Wednesday will include dry, calm weather with afternoon high temperatures in the mid to upper 80s. Things begin to change Wednesday evening when shower chances increase and wind gusts pick up.

Overnight from Wednesday into Thursday, that cold front will bring the potential for wetting rain, gusts in the 30 to 45 mph range, and cooler temperatures for the remainder of the week.

Thursday will begin with clouds and scattered showers, but some thunderstorms are possible.

Friday through the weekend includes drier conditions but cooler temperatures stick around with overnight lows in the mid 50s and afternoon highs in the low 80s.
