SPOKANE, Wash. — The mild and dry weather pattern will shift to a cooler and wetter pattern starting on Thursday. The first half of Thursday should be dry, though clouds will be on the increase. Showers will likely move in the Spokane/Coeur d'Alene area late Thursday afternoon and evening. Though it won't be as warm as Wednesday, with rain holding off until later in the day, temperatures should still warm up to around 60 degrees, which is average for this time of year.
The weekend will feature even cooler afternoon temperatures between 55-60 degrees, though because of cloud cover, overnight lows should remain in the 40s, so not terribly chilly. While Friday will feature scattered showers, it doesn't look like the weekend will be terribly wet. Total rainfall for Saturday and Sunday should be less than a tenth of an inch.
Temperatures will likely remain below average through early next week.
