SPOKANE, Wash. — Chilly temperatures will highlight the remainder of this week's weather. As Monday's cold front has fully filtered in the cooler temps, low temperatures will now be in the 30s for the rest of the week. Several days will even have lows near freezing, meaning frost will likely be seen the next few mornings.
Meanwhile, another cold-stationary front draped across northern Washington will offer a focal point for a few spotty afternoon showers both Tuesday and Wednesday. It should be warm enough during the day to keep everything liquid. A bit of graupel or perhaps low-elevation snow isn't completely out of the question, but I'm not worried in the slightly. The worst case scenario are some scattered flakes Wednesday morning and no accumulations whatsoever.
The rest of the forecast is sunny and dry. Temperatures will steadily warm for the rest of the week. Highs just in the low 50s today but climb to the low 60s for the weekend.
