If you enjoyed today's mild temperatures, you'll be happy with the forecast. Spokane will see highs in the middle and upper 60s all week, while across the Columbia Basin and Lewiston area, it will warm into the 70s.
We're not expecting much wet weather over the next 5-7 days, but a few showers are possible Monday night into Tuesday and again on Friday. Total rainfall amounts should be under a tenth of an inch. We've already had above normal rainfall for the month, having received 1.4 inches for April so far. The average rainfall for the month is 1.28 inches.
There will be a pattern change in the weather starting this upcoming weekend. It looks like an upper level trough of low pressure is expected to set up across the Northwest late Saturday (April 27th) and linger into the first few days of May. This will bring us some cooler than average temperatures for that period, so expect highs to cool into the 50s.
