SPOKANE, Wash. — As showers move out, a notable shift in the weather pattern takes place. More sunshine and warmer temperatures are back in the forecast- and just in time for the weekend. While we still have a small chance of rain Sunday, it is looking warmer both day and night in the days to come.
As sunshine returns, wind will pick up on Friday. A tightening pressure gradient will cause some stronger easterly (out of the east) winds to pick up Friday. Not enough to cause wind damage, but enough that you will notice it. The sunshine sticks around through Saturday, and with wind dying down the day will be almost perfect with highs in the 60s.
There is the chance of a few showers Saturday night and Sunday morning. while it isn't expected to be anything crazy, the showers and accompanying cloud cover will be enough to drop highs back into the 50s during the day.
Long story short? Enjoy Saturday!
