SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. — Snow fell throughout the day Monday in the Spokane area, leading to slick road conditions and crashes in the evening.
The Washington State Patrol and Spokane Regional Transportation Management Center tweeted about the crashes on Monday night. According to the WSP, I-90 between Pines and Sullivan Roads saw multiple crashes in both eastbound and westbound directions.
WSP Trooper Jeff Sevigney also said that there were crashes on SR 395 in the north part of Spokane County and SR 195 in southern Spokane County.
The SPTMC also reported multiple crashes on I-90 in both directions.
Tuesday is supposed to bring a break from the snow, with another storm system forecasted to bring in snow again on Wednesday.
