STEVENS COUNTY, Wash. — Drivers on US 395 near Loon Lake should prepare for delays on Thursday morning.
Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) warned drivers that they will face alternating traffic and flagging until about 10 a.m between mileposts 193 and 196.
The issue is related to a piece of equipment that broke down during paving work last night on the Loon Lake and Hafer Road project. The paving contractor needs to finish their work this morning to make sure both lanes are safe and drivable.
WSDOT warns drivers in both northbound and southbound directions to expect significant delays until the road is fully reopened.
