SPOKANE, Wash. – The semi-truck has been removed after a crash and N. Argonne Rd. has reopened on Friday morning.

One northbound lane and one southbound lane have reopened on N. Argonne Rd. after a head-on collision near the intersection with E. Bigelow Gulch Rd, according to Spokane County Sheriff deputies.

The crash happened at around 4:00 a.m., according to deputies.

Lanes in both directions are still closed on Argonne Rd. near the intersection, according to deputies. Deputies said the semi-truck was headed northbound on Argonne and the car was headed south when the two collided. Impairment is not suspected in the crash, according to deputies.

Police officials said the driver of the car was airlifted to a hospital and is in critical condition. The driver of the semi-truck was unharmed due to the crash, according to police officials.
